 Turned Down My DLA
Well they've turned me down for DLA again, for the third time, look like Ive gotto go through the whole depressing appeal system again, we really need someone who will stand up for us.

so sorry digger, brave you, but you must keep trying and not give in. Don't let them wear you down!! i wish i had courage to apply but i could not handle the rejection and am afraid it might kick off my depression big time again.

To top everything off today, I got a phone call to say I have to attend a medical to stay on the sick, the last one I attended the Doctor lied about my state of health and it took 3 months to get my Incapacity re-instated, so I am not feeling too bright today.

don't give up on dla.My friend used to work for them and she said when you send your forms in ,they are just looked at by a clerk ,not a medical person,and they don't study them, they are paid to get rid of them as in saying no!x

yeh but in the last two years, I have lost two appeals, I felt terrible sitting there in front of a panel of 5 people calling me a liar, and I ve now got to do it all again.

keep going digger, my sister had her appeal refused again!! so i wrote in and explained (long story) about extra problems she has now that were not considered and they have agreed to squash that appeal and start afresh. You must keep trying they will give in in the end!!

Good news, my medical with the DWP went as it should this time, they agree I'm unfit for work, gotta get a copy to see if it will help my appeal for DLA

Well I havent had the DWP medical stuff back yet, but I have had the appeal papers in and its obvious why they have refused.
My phsyio has stated that I told her that I can walk up the hill to my sons school, when what I actually said has that I cant manage the hill at my sons school.

Well I'm still waiting to hear if my appeal is going to be succesful, Ive asked for a paper appeal this time as I cant face another Face to face one.
